Aaron Ford Named a Moms Demand Action “Gun Sense Candidate”

Las Vegas, Nev. — Senator Ford has earned the “Gun Sense Candidate” distinction from Moms Demand Action in his race for Nevada Attorney General, and made the following statement in response:

“As a father, a former teacher and a public servant, I am dedicated to addressing the gun violence that is plaguing our country,” said Aaron Ford, candidate for Nevada Attorney General. “That’s why I’m honored that Moms Demand Action, a leading gun violence prevention organization, has given me a Gun Sense Candidate distinction. As someone who grew up around gun violence, I worked hard with the goal of providing my children and others a better life. Unfortunately, we’ve seen too many examples of how it doesn’t matter what town you live in -- shootings can take place anywhere. That’s why it’s time to take action, and I’m the candidate that’s ready for the job.”
