Former Nevada Congressman Jim Bilbray Endorses Ford for Attorney General
Las Vegas, Nev. — Today, former Nevada Congressman Jim Bilbray announced his endorsement of Aaron Ford for Nevada Attorney General.
“Aaron Ford has the experience to protect our families as Nevada’s next attorney general,” said Rep. Jim Bilbray, who represented Nevada’s first Congressional district for eight years. “Aaron has shown the toughness needed to take on criminals who rip off Nevada seniors and drug dealers who prey on our communities, and that is why I am endorsing him to be Attorney General.”
“Rep. Jim Bilbray served our state with honor for many years, and he has been a passionate supporter of our communities and small businesses here in Nevada,” said Aaron Ford. “I am humbled to receive the endorsement of Rep. Bilbray.”
Rep. Bilbray, a Nevada native, has been a distinguished public servant. In addition to serving in Congress where he fought for the economic interests of hardworking Nevadans, Rep. Bilbray was also a deputy District Attorney, municipal judge, Nevada state Senator, University of Nevada System Regent, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and the Chairman Board of Governors at United States Postal Service from 2015-2016.
