Former Nevada Gov. Bob Miller Endorses Ford for Attorney General
Las Vegas, Nev. — Today, former Nevada Governor Bob Miller announced his endorsement of Aaron Ford for Nevada Attorney General.
“Aaron Ford has the experience and vision to be Nevada’s next attorney general,” said former Gov. Bob Miller. “Aaron has repeatedly used bold leadership to strengthen Nevada’s economy, help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and toughen penalties for those who target our law enforcement officers and first responders. Aaron has the determination to fight for victims, prosecute dangerous criminals, and take on those who would attack our state and its people. Aaron will always put Nevada’s families first, and that is why I wholeheartedly endorse him for Attorney General.”
“I am honored and humbled to receive the endorsement of Gov. Bob Miller,” said Aaron Ford. “Governor Miller is a respected leader and served our state with distinction. He tirelessly promoted Nevada to the world and put our state first. As Nevada Attorney General, I will do the same by keeping Nevadans safe, strengthening the middle class, and protecting families.”
Governor Miller, the longest serving governor in Nevada’s history, was an unparalleled champion of Nevada’s tourism and convention industry. In addition, he served as Lieutenant Governor, Clark County District Attorney, president of the National District Attorneys Association, a member of President Ronald Reagan’s Task Force on Victims of Crime and Chairman of the National Governors Association.
