Aaron Ford Statement On National Gun Violence Awareness Day

Las Vegas, NV -- Aaron Ford, candidate for Nevada Attorney General, released the following statement on National Gun Violence Awareness Day:

“Eight months ago today, Las Vegas suffered an unspeakable tragedy when 58 people were killed and more than 500 injured in the deadliest shooting in American history. The October 1 tragedy demonstrates that gun violence continues its devastating toll on Nevada: more people die in Nevada from gun violence than car accidents. Today, I join my fellow Nevadans across our great state to remember the people whose lives were cut short by gun violence. In honor of their memory, I renew my pledge to put our families first and work to end the gun violence epidemic.”
