Las Vegas, Nev. — Today, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357 (IBEW Local 357) announced their endorsement of Senate Majority Leader Aaron Ford in his campaign to become Nevada’s next attorney general.
“IBEW Local 357 is proud to endorse Senator Ford for Attorney General,” said Al D. Davis, Business Manager/Financial Secretary of IBEW Local 357. “We are confident that he will work hard to protect the working men and women of this state. He has proven as leader of the Nevada State Senate that he will fight for those of us that wear work boots to make a living.”
“I am honored to earn the support of IBEW 357 and the thousands of members they represent in Southern Nevada,” said Aaron Ford.
“As our state’s next attorney general, I will always stand with the IBEW and support the interests of working Nevada families, including protecting workers’ rights to organize and have a seat at the bargaining table, and their right to be be safe on the job.”
Aaron Ford announced his bid for Nevada Attorney General in an open letter to his fellow Nevadans in September. In addition to his endorsement from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357, Aaron has received endorsements from Nevada State Education Association, the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, The Southern Nevada Building and Construction Trades Council, The Collective PAC, U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, House Representatives Dina Titus and Jacky Rosen, law enforcement leaders including former Washoe County Sheriff Mike Haley, former Clark County Sheriff Bill Young, former Henderson Chief of Police Richard Perkins, and former Southern Nevada Conference of Police and Sheriffs President Dave Kallas.
