In First-ever Endorsement for Nevada Attorney General, The Nevada Conservation League Announces Support for Conservation Champion Aaron Ford
LAS VEGAS -- The Nevada Conservation League is proud to announce our unprecedented endorsement of Aaron Ford for Nevada Attorney General.
“From protecting Lake Tahoe to advancing Nevada’s clean energy economy, Aaron Ford has proven time and again that he is ready to do what it takes to protect Nevada’s air, water, land, and health,” said Andy Maggi, Executive Director of the Nevada Conservation League. “And at a time when some AG’s and the Trump administration are committed to undermining some of our bedrock environmental protections, we are confident that Aaron Ford will defend them as our Attorney General.”
Commenting on his endorsement, Aaron Ford stated, "I'm honored to receive the endorsement of the Nevada Conservation League. All of us have a basic responsibility to leave our children and grandchildren a healthy future. As Nevada Attorney General, I will work to ensure that Nevadans breathe clean air and drink clean water, and I will fight back against attacks on Nevada’s environment and clean energy economy. I'll do everything in my power to make sure we put our families first and leave a better world for future generations."
