U.S. Senator Kamala Harris Endorses Aaron Ford for Attorney General
Las Vegas, Nev. — Today, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (CA) endorsed Aaron Ford in his campaign to be Nevada Attorney General. Before being elected to the United States Senate in 2016, Senator Harris previously served as the Attorney General of California.
“Aaron Ford has the experience and character to be Nevada’s next Attorney General,” said Senator Kamala Harris, who has also served as California Attorney General and District Attorney of San Francisco. “Senator Ford has a record of standing up to special interests and being tough and smart on crime. When he says that there is no criminal too ruthless and no corporation too powerful that he won’t take on if they are hurting Nevada’s families, he means it. Senator Ford will put families first, and that’s why I’m proud to endorse Aaron Ford for Attorney General.”
“I am honored and humbled to receive the endorsement of U.S. Senator Kamala Harris,” said Aaron Ford. “Senator Harris has a strong record of standing up for consumers by holding special interests accountable and creating safer communities by prosecuting transnational gangs that trafficked in guns, drugs, and human beings. As Nevada’s next Attorney General, I will do the same by taking on the scammers who rip off our seniors, insurance companies that deny care, polluters who poison our water, and criminals and drug dealers who prey on our communities.”
