Ford Exposes the Cost of Lombardo’s Corruption for Working Nevadans

Attorney General Aaron Ford held a press conference to expose how Joe Lombardo’s backroom deals and corruption scandals have cost Nevada families already struggling with rent, groceries, utility bills, and medical care. Ford highlighted Lombardo’s vetoes of policies designed to lower everyday costs, his firings of state employees, and regulatory decisions benefitting billionaires and powerful corporations. He also detailed contributions Lombardo received from Trump’s “billionaire friends” — including Elon Musk and Robert Bigelow – surrounding key decisions. While working Nevadans paid more, Lombardo’s billionaire friends got a government that worked only to serve them..

Ford pledged to put Nevada families first by lowering costs, protecting access to affordable health care, and holding corporations accountable when they use political influence to secure special treatment.

“In just eight short days, Nevadans are going to decide the future of our state with our votes in this election,” said Attorney General Aaron Ford. “For four years, Joe Lombardo has sided with billionaires and big corporations while Nevada families struggled to afford the basics. That is the choice in this election. As your Governor, my top priority will be ensuring Nevada families can afford to fill their tanks at the pump, buy a week’s worth of groceries, pay the rent or mortgage, keep the lights on, and get medical care when they need it. Unlike Joe Lombardo, I won’t serve any president, billionaire, or big corporation. I will always put Nevada families first.”
