Ford Raised Nearly $2.6 Million In Q2, Record Haul for Non-Incumbent Candidate
Today, Attorney General Aaron Ford announced that he raised nearly $2.6 million during the second quarter of 2026. In the second quarter, Ford raised more than $1.4 million into his campaign — the most raised by a non-incumbent candidate running for governor in Nevada history. An additional $1.1 million was raised into an affiliated PAC. Combined, Ford has more than $3.7 million cash-on-hand heading into the general election.
From April to June, Ford received contributions from nearly 13,000 individual donors — nearly 90% of them $90 or less — including from educators, nurses and doctors, service workers, and police officers. With a record-breaking start to the general election, Ford’s robust grassroots support demonstrates a continued deep, statewide backing for his candidacy.
“Attorney General Ford is building momentum in this race because Nevadans are fired up about his message of cutting costs and building a Nevada that works for working people,” said Ford for Nevada Campaign Manager Zoë Kleinfeld. “While Joe Lombardo ignores the struggles of Nevadans and hides from tough questions, AG Ford is building a broad-based coalition of voters from every background and walk of life. Ford is the only candidate in this race speaking to the issues that matter to working Nevadans, and that’s how he’ll win in November.”
Ford’s campaign is supported by a broad and growing coalition of working Nevadans. Ford has been endorsed by Culinary Union 226, Nevada AFL-CIO, AFSCME Local 4041, Building Trades of Northern Nevada, TWU Local 577, SEIU Local 1107, CWA Local 9413, IBEW Locals 401 & 357, UAW Region 6, Teamsters Operating Engineers Locals 3 & 12, Laborers’ Union Local 169, IATSE Local 720 & 363, Ironworkers Locals 118 & 433, IUPAT Local 16, Bricklayers Local 13, Reproductive Freedom for All, Planned Parenthood Advocates Mar Monte, Nevada Solar Association, Nevada State Education Association, Washoe Education Association, and others—all citing Ford’s record on affordability and workers’ rights, as well as his vision for a strong, diversified economic future.
