Ford Campaign Statement on Soaring Gas Prices Caused By Lombardo’s Ally, Trump
Attorney General Aaron Ford released the following statement on gas prices soaring to over $4 a gallon and crude oil rising to more than $100 a barrel after President Trump’s strikes against Iran:
“Nevadans are experiencing major pain at the pump as Donald Trump’s reckless Iran war causes oil prices to spike. Gas prices have soared to above $4 a gallon—an outrageous increase that working families can’t afford amid rising costs on everyday essentials.
“Nevada needs a governor who’s not afraid to stand up to Trump as he makes decisions that directly raise costs on Nevadans. With my record of fighting and winning against Trump in court, I won’t be afraid to stand up to him when he’s harming Nevadans. Joe Lombardo, on the other hand, once again supported Trump’s costly decision. It’s time for stronger leadership.”
