Aaron Ford Statement On Flock Cameras

In response to the proliferation of Flock cameras in Nevada, Attorney General Aaron Ford released the following statement:

“Flock cameras raise serious concerns about Nevadans’ right to privacy. Nevada needs stringent rules to protect against the abuse of Flock cameras, and as Governor I will work with lawmakers to pass into law these essential guardrails. Until Nevadans have these protections, I do not support the use of Flock cameras.

“Joe Lombardo takes campaign cash from the pro-data center billionaire who privately funded the Flock cameras now operating in Las Vegas – and he is letting Big Tech write its own rules on our privacy. I’ve spent my time as Attorney General protecting Nevadans from Wall Street, Big Pharma, and Big Tech corporations. As Governor, I’ll continue to put working Nevadans first.”
