Attorney General Ford Slams Lombardo For Helping Trump Suppress Nevadans’ Votes

In response to Joe Lombardo attempting to get the Secretary of State to utilize Trump’s federal voter suppression database, Attorney General Aaron Ford released the following statement:

“Once again, Joe Lombardo is helping his so-called “commanding officer” Donald Trump attack Nevadans’ constitutional right to vote. Trump’s so-called SAVE database has been proven to block American citizens from exercising their right to vote – yet Lombardo is trying to force Trump’s voter suppression database on Nevada. Let’s be clear: Nevadans don’t need Trump interfering with our elections, which are already among the safest in the nation. What Nevadans need is a Governor who will uphold our state’s laws and fight back against Trump when he threatens them – and I’m going to be that Governor.”
