PRESS RELEASE

Washoe County Leaders Endorse Aaron Ford for Governor

Today, Attorney General Aaron Ford announced the endorsement of multiple Washoe County elected officials, adding to the growing coalition backing his campaign for governor. Ford previously announced the endorsements of State Senators Skip Daly and Angie Taylor, both representing Washoe County.

“I am honored to have the endorsements of several Washoe County elected officials who have been committed to the fight for a better life for their community members,” said Attorney General Aaron Ford. “Together, we’re fighting for an economy that works for everyone, safer communities, and a Nevada where opportunity reaches every corner of our state.”

This week, Ford announced that he raised more in the first month of his campaign than any candidate challenging an incumbent governor in Nevada history, including Joe Lombardo. Last month, General Ford announced that he secured the endorsements of a majority of Democratic state legislators. In July, he received the endorsements of Nevada’s entire Democratic Congressional Delegation – underscoring the broad, united support behind his campaign.

Endorsements:

Natha Anderson, Assemblymember (D-30)

Selena La Rue Hatch, Assemblymember (D-25)

Miguel Martinez, Reno City Councilmember

Devon Reese, Reno City Councilmember
