PRESS RELEASE
ICYMI: Ford Shares Plans to End Lombardo-Trump Affordability Crisis on The Breakfast Club & More
As mail-in ballots are sent to Nevadans, Attorney General Aaron Ford is reaching them not just on the traditional news but on their favorite podcasts too – including recent appearances on The Breakfast Club, Legal AF on MeidasTouch, The David Pakman Show, and Simon Rosenberg’s ‘Hopium Chronicles’. Ford shared his plans to lower the cost of living for working Nevadans and lead Nevada out of the failed Lombardo-Trump economy.
While Ford is out talking to Nevadans about the issues that matter most to them, Lombardo is campaigning from his basement, ducking reporters’ questions, and refusing to debate. Given the fact that Lombardo has no plan to lower costs and his dozens of foot-in-mouth comments, it’s no surprise that Lombardo is hiding behind billionaire-funded attack ads and avoiding the debate stage.

“One of the things I'm most proud of is this Meta settlement that we just got. I sued Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger I think three years ago, and about a month ago we settled this case in a multi-state settlement, which is separate and apart from my own lawsuit, and because of that work, our kids' mental health is going to improve virtually overnight”
“We are in the midst of a Lombardo-Trump economy that’s demolishing small businesses and making it tougher for people to afford to live their lives. And I want to look people in the eyes and tell them, I’m not raising your taxes during this affordability crisis that your governor has created”
“I talked to a woman in Minden, Nevada, which is a rural part of the state, who was buying groceries. She had a basketful, went over to the pharmacy section to pick up her prescription, looked at the price, and left the groceries in the aisle because she couldn’t afford both.”

When [Trump] filed these [election-based] executive orders, I was front and center, trying to take over these particular cases and ensure that we could push back.
“We have a midterm election that the Trump administration has been trying to undermine. I need you to exercise your vote during this midterm election. I need you to go vote for individuals who are actually going to stand up for the right to vote. I have a governor in my state who has aligned himself with Donald Trump”
“I’ve spoken to Nevadans all across the state, and I'm hearing the exact same thing: everything's too expensive. It resonates with me because I might not have known what the word meant when I was eight years old, but I knew my parents couldn't always afford food. I grew up eating stale candy bars for dinner that my father found next to the dumpster behind the grocery store where he worked.”
David Pakman: 'What happens if Trump tries to SUSPEND THE ELECTION?'
“I wholeheartedly support Nevadans, and I have been listening and responsive to their concerns, which is why I rolled out a plan that is, in fact, going to stop any future tax abatements or tax breaks for these data centers”
“One of the things that’s happening right now is because of the diminished reputation of the United States around the world, because of Donald Trump.”
“The first thing he should be doing is being the biggest cheerleader for our state, standing up, having a backbone, and not lying down at every turn for Donald Trump.”

“People are just terrified. And look, at the end of the day, while folks appreciate and understand the importance of strong borders, what they don't appreciate is us having essentially a vigilante group, called ICE, with masks on, terrorizing our neighborhoods.”
“We have here a “Lombardo-Trump economy,” that has been decimating small businesses because of the illegal tariffs that Donald Trump instituted early on.”
“It’s been seven years and nine months essentially, where I’ve been able to be aligned with 23, 24 other Democratic attorneys general across the nation. We’ve been the front line — and the last line — of defense against an administration that is hellbent on undermining our rights and our ability to survive, let alone thrive.”
