Attorney General Ford Statement on Attempted ICE Arrest at Harry Reid International Airport
Attorney General Aaron Ford released the following statement in response to ICE assaulting a man at Harry Reid International Airport:
“This week, Trump sicced ICE agents in hoodies and masks on an elderly man with no outstanding warrants at the airport, and they assaulted him to the point where he was screaming in pain on the floor. Their abhorrent conduct is a disgrace to law enforcement and an unacceptable threat to the safety of Nevadans.
“Joe Lombardo claims that his relationship with Donald Trump keeps ICE out of Nevada – but when Trump’s rogue ICE terrorized this man yesterday, he folded to Trump and stayed silent like always. Lying Lombardo may not have the spine to stand up to Trump, but I always will.”
