BREAKING: Lombardo Attack Ad "False", Allies Paid Workers to Lie; Worker Actually Voted for Ford

In a definitive fact check, KTNV ruled that “the accusations that appear in some of the [Better Nevada PAC’s] ads aren't true.” Following KTNV’s fact check, a new unearthed video featuring a worker from BNP’s attack ad admitted that he “did it for the money” and “ended up voting for [Aaron Ford] anyway.”

Joe Lombardo’s attack ads against Attorney General Ford are false and are a desperate attempt to distract from his abysmal economic record. Lombardo’s PAC has run the earliest negative ad campaign for any incumbent governor in Nevada history because he is “concerned” about his re-election chances. Lombardo has spent nearly $7 million over four months on negative ads, and yet the polls haven’t moved — consistently showing this race within the margin of error.

Lombardo is the most vulnerable Republican governor up for re-election and has said himself that he’s “not enough of a motivator” to turn out voters this fall.

“Joe Lombardo can’t maintain a functioning economy, can’t stand up to Trump and the billionaires wrecking Nevada, and can’t even win the support of voters his big-money backers are paying to star in a misleading TV ad,” said Prerna Jagadeesh, spokesperson for Ford for Governor. “Lombardo’s sham of an ad has fallen flat, just like his campaign will in November.”
