ICYMI: AG Ford Holds Roundtable With CCSD Educators On Setting Schools and Students Up For Success

Today, Attorney General Aaron Ford held a roundtable with Clark County School District educators to discuss the challenges they’re experiencing as Nevada’s schools sink to the bottom under Joe Lombardo. Ford discussed the real, sustainable solutions he’ll deliver as the next Governor. Ford spoke about his education plan, which focuses on increasing per-pupil funding, making teacher salaries competitive with those in other states, reducing class sizes, and guaranteeing school meals so that kids aren’t distracted by hunger when trying to learn.

Meanwhile, Joe Lombardo has helped Donald Trump undermine public education in Nevada by supporting Trump’s cuts to the Department of Education, depriving Nevada of $1 billion in school funding. As Nevada ranks 48th in K-12 education and 46th in overall child well-being under Lombardo, his policies would keep the state moving in the wrong direction if he is reelected.
