Aaron Ford Calls Out All-Time High Diesel Prices Under Lombardo-Trump Economy

Attorney General Aaron Ford released the following statement in response to diesel prices climbing to an all-time high across Nevada because of the Iran War:

“Thanks to the Trump-Lombardo war with Iran, diesel just hit a record high of nearly $7 per gallon. That makes everything more expensive, from driving to work to buying groceries to keeping the lights on. That’s why I’m calling on Trump to issue $2,000 refund checks to every Nevada household to pay for the financial damages his war has caused Nevadans.

“I know Lombardo won’t have the spine to finally stand up to his ‘commanding officer’ and sign my letter to Trump asking for refund checks, because he’s already doubled down on his support of Trump’s costly war and asked him to spend more of Nevadans’ tax dollars to fund it. Trump and Lombardo are a package deal, and Nevada families are paying the price. While Lombardo acts as Trump’s doormat, I’m laser focused on lowering costs and putting money back in Nevadans’ pockets.”
