Aaron Ford Blasts Lombardo For Supporting Trump War Causing Record High Gas Prices on Labor Day
Attorney General Aaron Ford released the following statement on Nevadans suffering record-high Labor Day Weekend gas prices this year:
“Hardworking Nevadans who should be enjoying a stress-free holiday are instead suffering the highest-ever Labor Day Weekend gas prices thanks to Donald Trump’s senseless Iran War that Joe Lombardo wants to waste even more billions of taxpayer dollars on. Trump's $5 gas is putting further strain on families already struggling to get by in the Lombardo-Trump economy. And Joe Lombardo is making things worse: he rushed to support the Iran War right after Trump announced it – and in July, he publicly supported funneling another $70 billion towards a war that has already lit $37 billion on fire.
“Nevadans need a Governor who’s going to make life more affordable so they can enjoy holidays instead of dealing with record high prices. I’m running to be that Governor and make stuff cost less.”
