Attorney General Aaron Ford Releases Statement on Nevada Day

Attorney General Ford released the following statement to celebrate Nevada Day:

“On October 31, 1864, Nevada joined the Union as America’s 36th state – born in the middle of a battle over what kind of country we would be. That Battle Born spirit has never left us. Nevadans show up for our neighbors, we work hard, and we build something better for our kids. As Governor, I’ll keep fighting to make Nevada more affordable and ensure every family has the opportunity to succeed. Berna and I are grateful to call the Silver State home, and are proud to celebrate alongside the whole Nevada family: the miners and ranchers, Culinary workers and teachers, nurses and small business owners who have always kept this state moving forward. We wish every Nevadan a happy Nevada Day!”
