Aaron Ford Statement On Gas Prices Once Again Surpassing $5 A Gallon

Attorney General Aaron Ford released the following statement on gas prices once again surpassing $5 a gallon:

“Thanks to Donald Trump’s Iran War — which Joe Lombardo not only supports, but wants to blow another $70 billion in tax dollars on — the average cost of a gallon of gas in Nevada has once again shot past $5 a gallon. Working families are already struggling to afford groceries, rent, health care, and utilities; they cannot afford this new gas price hike on top of every other price hike they’ve suffered in the Lombardo-Trump economy. Enough is enough. The President needs to end the war, bring our troops home, and focus on lowering the cost of gas.

“I’m running for Governor to make stuff cost less, ensure working Nevadans can actually afford to live in Nevada, and stand up to Trump’s insane cost-raising agenda.”

As gas prices skyrocket above $5.00 a gallon, Joe Lombardo has doubled down on his support of Trump’s Iran war. Last month, Lombardo wrote a letter supporting Trump’s new budget bill to shovel another $70 billion towards his disastrous Iran War – which has already wasted $37 billion in taxpayer dollars. Nevadans are feeling the pinch from Trump sending gas prices exploding above $5 a gallon with his Iran War which Joe Lombardo supports and is urging the president to continue.
