Aaron Ford Blasts Lombardo Saying Workers Are Asking For Handouts

Attorney General Aaron Ford released the following statement on Joe Lombardo saying behind closed doors that workers are “asking for handouts”:

“Joe Lombardo has the nerve to say all Nevada workers want are ‘handouts’ as he actively hands out $240 million in tax breaks to data centers and prioritizes taking care of Trump’s billionaire friends. This is par for the course for Lombardo, who has also said that unemployed Nevadans are just lazy and would rather “manipulate the government” than find a job. Lombardo’s disdain for working Nevadans knows no limits.

“I, on the other hand, know the value of a lifeline in a time of true need from having once relied on Section 8 housing, Medicaid, and food stamps. I’m going to be a Governor who gives working Nevadans the helping hand they deserve – unlike Lombardo, who’d rather talk down to them from behind closed doors while partying with his wealthy friends.”
