President Obama Urges Nevadans to Elect Aaron Ford Governor: "A Man of Integrity and Decency"

Today, President Barack Obama urged Nevadans to elect Attorney General Aaron Ford as their next governor in a new video released ahead of the start of early voting. President Obama underscores Ford’s record of keeping Nevadans safe, holding corporations accountable, and his plans to put money back in working families’ pockets. As governor, Obama says, Ford will lower costs, make housing affordable, and hold the line on taxes.

“As Attorney General, Aaron has gone to bat for Nevadans, helping bring down violent crime, holding drug companies accountable, and taking on utility companies over unfair electric bills,” said President Barack Obama. “As Governor, Aaron will keep fighting for you, lowering costs, making housing affordable, and holding the line on your taxes. Billionaires have spent millions of dollars smearing Aaron, but the power is in your hands, not theirs.”

“Nevada families are working harder than ever and still can’t afford gas at the pump, food at the grocery store, and their electricity bills to keep their lights on” said Attorney General Aaron Ford. “I’m proud to have President Obama standing with us as we fight to make things cost less in every corner of our state. Joe Lombardo has had his chance and failed. I’ll show up for working families every single day, and as early voting begins, I’m asking Nevadans to vote for change.”

This ad started airing on radio in the Las Vegas market last week.
