Attorney General Aaron Ford on Trump Once Again Failing to Refund Nevadans for Illegal Tariffs Tax
Attorney General Aaron Ford released the following statement on the Trump administration failing to refund Nevada families the $1,700 he owes us:
“I defeated Donald Trump’s tariffs in court two months ago, and he has still failed to give Nevada families a refund for this illegal $1,700 tax. This is unacceptable. Nevadans are already struggling to make ends meet in the Lombardo-Trump economy, and families need their money back.
“Although Joe Lombardo believes that Nevadans need to ‘feel a little pain’ from Trump’s tariffs and said Nevada families don’t deserve a refund, I disagree. I’m suing to block Trump’s latest round of illegal tariffs, and I will continue fighting to secure refunds for consumers. I will not let up until Trump pays back Nevada families every penny of the $1,700 he owes them.”
