Today, on Earth Day, Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford announced that he has secured the endorsement of the Nevada Conservation League (NCL), a leading environmental group which works to protect Nevada’s environment, air, water, land, and health by advocating for pro-environment policies so that all Nevada communities can thrive.

“I am honored to have the support of the Nevada Conservation League in my campaign for Governor, an organization that has led the charge to keep the environment clean and safe for Nevada families,” said Aaron Ford, Attorney General of Nevada and candidate for Governor. “As Attorney General, I’ve fought to protect Nevada communities from pollution and to keep our land, water, and air pristine by pushing back on the Trump administration’s attacks on clean energy. When I was a State Senator, NCL recognized my work on environmental policy by naming me "Senator of the Year." As Governor, I will continue to protect Nevada communities that rely on our lands and waters by helping build out residential solar, and getting clean energy projects off the ground faster. I will also work to stop the unlawful demand charge set to raise Nevadans’ energy bills by hundreds of dollars a year.
